State Relations Officer Position

UNI Family,

Jeneane Beck, UNI's state relations officer, has accepted the position of senior director for News Media Relations at the University of Iowa. Her last day at UNI will be Dec. 30, 2014.

Jeneane has been instrumental in telling UNI's story during the legislative sessions. She's been able to create and improve relationships with legislators, and engage campus with outreach platforms like Panther Caucus and UNI Day at the Capitol.

This position is a Board of Regents employment opportunity. A job description will be posted on the Board of Regents and UNI websites soon. UNI will be immersed and involved in the entire hiring process. We will be able to provide input, direction and feedback.  Communication and announcements about this position will be bilateral not unilateral.
