Pay it Forward

Dear UNI Family,

The UNI campus will hum with activity next week as CATS (Connecting Alumni To Students) educate our students about the impact of philanthropy on their learning experience.

CATS have been busy planning some fun and engaging activities:

February 16-20

Pay It Forward– Look for banners hung across campus showing the impact of donor support for UNI and our students. You can participate in the CATS media blitz by finding all the banners on campus. Tweet or Facebook a selfie with each of the banners. Here are a couple examples:

Did you know?

Donors provide more than $3.2 million each year in private support for student scholarships.

Did you know?

More than $13 million in private funds helped build the GBPAC.

February 18-19, Maucker Union, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Love a Donor– Students write a thank you card to donors for their extraordinary support of UNI. Come write a short note and help us reach our goal to thank 1,000 donors.

February 18-19

Donor/Alumni Calling Project– Sustaining Life Alumni Association members will be called to thank them for their continued support of UNI.

Pay It Forward Dining Cards– At various times during the week, CATS will be prowling the dining areas to hand out gift cards to cover student purchases. These Pay It Forward educational cards describe the services and facilities that we have on campus because donors paid it forward to support current students.

Watch social media for an educational video that will be posted during week. And don’t forget there's still time to donate to Care for the Cat.

Purple for Life!
