Message regarding Natalie Sugira

Dear UNI Family,

It is with great sadness that we share with you the loss of a member of the UNI family: Natalie Sugira, an academic counselor for the Classic Upward Bound Program.

Natalie was a political refugee from Rwanda. Overcoming the troubles that she faced early in life, Natalie was a wonderfully sweet person who truly cared for other people and was full of optimism for the future.

Visitation services will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 15, at Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls. Funeral services are at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 16, at St. Stephen the Witness Student Center on the UNI campus.

Please keep Natalie's loved ones in your thoughts as they move through this difficult time.
