Message about the death of Jay Dykstra

Dear UNI Family,
It is with great sadness that we share with you the loss of a member of the UNI family: Jay Dykstra, a senior majoring in business.

Jay was originally from Denver, Iowa. He was excited for graduation in May and had recently accepted a full-time position at Aerotek in Hiawatha. Jay loved slow-pitch softball, the Chicago Cubs and Denver Broncos. He was a best friend to many in Denver and at UNI.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 27, at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly, located at 218 2nd Street SE. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, March 28, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Waverly, located at 2700 Horton Road. A visitation is also scheduled for an hour prior to the mass on Saturday. More information about services and memorials can be found on the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home website.
