Meeting on discrimination, diversity and inclusion on the UNI campus

Dear Students, Staff, and Faculty,

We will be meeting on Thursday, November 19th, to discuss issues and concerns regarding discrimination, diversity, and inclusion on the UNI campus and to generate ideas for solutions and improving the campus atmosphere.

Students will gather at 5 p.m. in the Great Reading room (which is upstairs from the Provost/President's office in Seerly) to share, vet, and bring into focus their thoughts on how to move UNI forward.

Then from 6-7:30 p.m., the gathering will be open to all staff and faculty who wish to join and listen to students' ideas on the best ways to create a more inclusive and mindful environment.

There will also be an opportunity for staff/faculty to gather input from the students present on current initiatives or plans that the university wishes to move forward with.
