Jean Berger named Interim Athletic Director

Dear UNI Family,

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Jean Berger as interim director of athletics. Jean was promoted to deputy athletic director in July 2015. Before that, she was UNI's senior associate athletic director and senior woman administrator.

Jean joined UNI in 2008. She is the direct supervisor of five UNI women's sports basketball, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. She oversees academic services and athletic training, and she also serves as a member of the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Committee.

Jean's interim position will begin January 1. She replaces Troy Dannen, who is leaving UNI to be the athletics director at Tulane University in New Orleans.
