Happy Independence Day

Dear UNI family,

Happy Independence Day.

The Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., has the quote "Freedom Is Not Free" engraved on one of its walls. These words serve as a reminder that our freedom does not come without tremendous cost.

As we approach celebrating this country's freedom, our democracy and the signing of the Declaration of Independence, let us reflect on our country's great history and acknowledge those who have fought and continue to fight so valiantly for our freedom.
