Funeral Services for Augusta Schurrer

Dear UNI Family,

It is with great sadness that we share with you the loss of a member of the UNI family: Augusta Schurrer, a former UNI math professor.

Augusta was a math professor at UNI for 47 years. She retired in 1997. While at UNI, she was very active in numerous mathematics organizations, received the Dean's Award for superior achievement as a faculty member and served on many university committees.

Visitation services will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 5, with a 7 p.m. vigil service at Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls. Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 6, at St. Stephen's the Witness Catholic Student Center on the UNI campus.
