Notice about the death of James Robinson

Tuesday, January 19th, 2016

Dear UNI Family,

It is with great sadness that we share with you the loss of a member of the UNI family: James Robinson, associate professor of religion.

James was a faculty member in the philosophy and world religion department at UNI for 45 years. His specialty was Tibetan Buddhism, and he was famous for his courses on the religions of India, China and Japan. This past year, some of his students presented him with a gift that acknowledged their deep appreciation for his teaching.

The Robinson family plans on a memorial service for James in April.

Please keep James' loved ones in your thoughts as they move through this difficult time.
