In May, faculty, staff and students began the planning process for creating a new strategic plan for the University of Northern Iowa that will chart our course into the future. Over the summer, a Strategic Planning Committee has worked diligently to develop a first draft of the 2017-2022 Strategic Plan. The committee has gathered significant input from faculty, staff and students as well as alumni, donors and community leaders from around Iowa and beyond. The committee has utilized this input in developing the draft 2017-2022 Strategic Plan for your review.
The committee requests your feedback on the first draft of the 2017-2022 Strategic Plan. You still have an opportunity to participate in the Town Hall Meeting hosted by the Strategic Planning Committee on Sept. 16 in the Commons Slife Ballroom.
- 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 16, Commons Slife Ballroom
If you are unable to participate in the Town Hall Meeting, you can view the draft 2017-2022 Strategic Plan and provide feedback by going to the 2017-2022 Strategic Planning website.
I hope you will participate in the Town Hall Meeting or provide feedback online. Your participation is critical as we chart the path for the University of Northern Iowa's future.
