Associate Counsel
Emily Pittenger is Associate Counsel, having joined the Office of University Counsel in 2022. Emily's primary areas of focus include employment issues, immigration, export controls and contracts.
Prior to working in the Office of University Counsel, Emily worked in private practice in a wide variety of areas, including real estate, probate, estate planning, tax and transportation law. She has also taught legal courses at Western Iowa Technical CommunityCollege.
Emily is a graduate of Buena Vista University and Drake University Law School, and a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys, as well as a member of the Iowa Bar Association.
